The LXT3108BE is the first fully integrated transceiver for T1 CSU and ISDN primary rate interface applications at 1.544 Mbps. The transceiver operates over 6000 feet of 22 AWG twisted-pair cable without any external components. To compensate for shorter lines, 7.5dB, 15dB and 22.5dB frequency-dependent transmit line build-outs are provided. The applications of the LXT3108BE include ISDN primary rate interface, CSU interface to T1 service, DS1 metallic interface, T1 LAN bridge, CPU to CPU channel extenders, digital loop carrier, T1 Mux and channel banks.
